The Crew had a great hike and scored 4 geo-caches along the way!Three youth and three adults, plus two guests, made their way from the saddle of Mount Jumbo over the summit and down the ‘L’ Trail. We stopped many times along the way to talk about geology, ecology, and just enjoy the views (and take a breather).

4 Members of the Crew and 2 adults had a wonderful time watching Sherlock Holmes. Ronnie’s brownies were well received and devoured completely. The fruit was a nice touch. As always there was Trails End Popcorn. After the movie, the Crew ran an “open mic night” with random skits. Where do fish keep their money? River banks.

5 youth and 5 adults hiked to the top of Mount Sentinal via Crazy Canyon (and other trails). The summit was short lived due to the snow but everyone had a great time.

7 youth and 5 adults are now CPR Certified! Almost 100% of the crew.

Along with Troop 1911, three members attended the Big Bend camp out along the Blackfoot River. During that event, members lead a 5 mile hike.

On April 10th, 3 members of Crew 2911 hiked the Waterworks Hill, north of Missoula, MT.

Crew 2911 is located in Missoula, Montana. We are chartered by First Christian Church and are a part of the Mullan Trail District of the Montana Council, BSA.

We meet every Tuesday at 6pm at First Christian Church. Our emphasis is backpacking and emergency preparedness.
